Mon. - Fri., by appointment only Saturday. and Sunday Noon to 4 pm

2349 So. Santa Fe Ave. Studio C Los Angeles, CA 90058

Event Description

Studio C Gallery and Women Painters West are pleased to announce Speaking of Trees, an exhibition that is inspired by trees. This exhibition will showcase the diversity of the Women Painters West organization by showcasing paintings, drawings and collage. This exhibit will be a collaborative experience joining Studio C Gallery and Women Painters West with Tree People, an environmental non-profit organization that inspires and supports the people of L.A. to come together to plant and care for trees.

Trees provide shade, harvest the rain and renew depleted landscapes. There is nothing more comforting than sitting under a tree, whose shade protects us and lulls into daydreaming.

The Opening Reception brings together art lovers and tree lovers in mutual support. There will be opportunities to support the work of Tree People with Shade Tree Adoption and a raffle to benefit their good work. The gallery will be taking donations for Tree People throughout the exhibition’s run.

Artists will donate 20%, from sales to Tree People.

Opening Reception is Saturday, June 3rd 6 to 9 pm
