Kaleidokrew Presents MODULE: Exploring Modularity Through Art
A FREE exhibition at Art Share L.A., January 6th – 16th

Kaleidokrew curates & showcases sensational new art talents culminating in a free reception with performances by Alison Swing of Dig Deeper & Kaleidokrew resident DJs

December 7th, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA – Kaleidokrew, the up-and-coming LA-based creative collective, takes over Art Share L.A. for MODULE: Exploring Modularity Through Art – a free curated art exhibition from talented artists such as, Kayla Cloonan, Betsy Enzensberger, Bridget Klappert, Asli Tusavul and more! This ten-day event begins with a Preview Night, Wednesday, January 6th and culminates in a free reception on Saturday, January 9th with live DJ performances from Alison Swing of Dig Deeper and Kaleidokrew resident DJs. Following the reception day participating work in MODULE will remain on display in the Art Share L.A. galleries until the exhibition closing date on Saturday, January 16th.

On Wednesday, January 6th local and visiting art fans can experience MODULE starting with a Preview Night starting at 6PM. Food and drinks will be available while supplies last. Kaleidokrew members will also be on site to answer any questions. The MODULE exhibition at Art Share L.A. is open daily from 1 – 6PM.

On Saturday, January 9th starting at 8PM music and art fans alike are welcome to a very special free reception with featured artists in attendance, as well as a DJ performance from Alison Swing (Dig Deeper co-founder/resident) and Kaleidokrew founding members ZiPPA (Kelly Chen) and nova bryant (Suzanne Feyche).

On Saturday, January 16th the MODULE exhibition will come to a close.

About Alison Swing
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Alison Swing has been a self-proclaimed vinyl junkie, drawing inspiration from Dutch modern disco, banging Chicago house and Scandinavian beats. She is co-founder and resident at one of LA’s newest emerging party series – Dig Deeper LA. She has played among the likes of Axel Boman, The Black Madonna, Detroit Swindle and DJ Sprinkles locally in Los Angeles as well as Germany and Mexico.

The Kaleidokrew is an emerging creative collective of artists, designers and musicians based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2014 the Kaleidokrew hosts Kaleidoscope, a monthly DJ residency at The Melody Lounge in Chinatown, while regularly performing at various art-related functions throughout Los Angeles such as Art Share L.A.
